Positioning the widget
If your site has multiple widgets, you can change the position to avoid overlap. In the theme editor, you can adjust the position from the bottom and right side of the screen.
Some third-party widgets can be relocated to the left side of the screen, creating more space for the "Search Color" widget and preventing it from appearing visually cramped.
You might also evaluate whether the chat service is worth the screen space or if switching to a simpler contact page would be more effective for customer service. A streamlined design can enhance the overall user experience for your shoppers allowing them to focus on the more memorable feature of searching by color.
Z-index overlapping issues with the search color overlay
Some third-party plugins may overlap with Hoppn's Search Color overlay, disrupting the user experience. If you encounter this issue, please reach out to us and share the names of the third-party plugins you’re using. We’ll investigate and work to resolve the problem promptly!
The importance of the "Search color" widget.
- Accessible from any page.
- Instead of burying our color wheel within a filter menu, it’s placed front and center, allowing visitors to quickly and easily find what they need.
- Familiarity.
- Customers trust the reliability of Hoppn’s branded color search. Its consistent placement in the bottom-right corner ensures it’s always accessible, enhancing the overall user experience.
- Avoid search and filtering conflicts
- Shopify stores often allow sorting by price or alphabetical order, but these options can conflict with our patented algorithm, which ranks products by color accuracy. Our proprietary color search operates independently, using its own advanced system to deliver precise results and a smooth, reliable experience.
